Parking facilities for clients

We provide free covered car parking to all our students from 6:00pm onwards everyday including weekdays. Covered parking is free for the full day on Sunday only.

Pass Protection

EDGE offers a ‘Pass Protection’ scheme to all its ‘returning students’. ‘Returning Student’ refers to a student who has previously registered, purchased and paid for training courses at EDGE.

We value our quality in education, EDGE will ensure it can help candidates to pass the exam in their first try, however unfortunate events could cause a negative results on the exam day.

Thus if you fail the exam after attending trainings with EDGE we will train you for the same course absolutely FREE*.

DOES EDGE OFFER DISCOUNTS ON ANY OF THEIR COURSES?

Yes! EDGE offers a variety of discount to students on case to case basis:

We offer early bird discounts at 10%; available on registration completed 2 weeks prior to course start date.

Groups of 2+ students simultaneously registering for the same course are eligible for a discount of 15% on the course fee. Note: All members of the group must register together to avail the discount.

We also offer 50% discount to a student who has taken classes from another provider with an unsuccessful result. A copy of recent exam result will have to be submitted to avail of this discount. That’s our way of getting you back on the horse!

Note: Discounts cannot be combined with other course promotions.

Pass Protection Eligibility

Pass protection will only be provided for the course previously registered and paid for with EDGE. The student must meet the eligibility criteria (class attendance and assignment scores) to benefit from the ‘pass protection’ scheme.

HOW IS THE CFA PROGRAM STRUCTURED?

To attain the CFA charter a candidate needs to pass all 3 levels of the examination and obtain 4000 hours of valid working experience.

The program tests candidates on 10 topics, increasing in difficulty as you progress through each level.

We train and prepare candidates for all 3 levels of the CFA Program examinations. We provide an interactive learning environment, and a dedicated study program designed to help you pass the examinations.

HOW MANY EXAMS DOES THE CFA PROGRAM HAVE AND WHEN ARE THEY CONDUCTED?

The CFA Program tests candidates on each level via computer based exam.

One exam per level, broken into 2 exam sessions attempted on the same day. A morning session and an afternoon session. Each session is 2 hours 15 minutes long, with an optional break between the sessions.

Level I & II examinations are tested only as multiple choice questions. Level III is tested by essay and multiple choice questions.

Level I exams are conducted 4 times a year (Feb | May | Aug | Nov ).

Level II exams are conducted 3 times a year ( May | Aug | Nov ).

Level III exams are conducted 2 times a year ( Feb | Aug ).

ARE THERE ANY PREREQUISITES TO REGISTER AND SIT FOR CFA PROGRAM EXAM?

A candidate would need to meet the following criteria to be eligible:

  • Have a bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree. OR 
  • The selected exam window must be 23 months before graduation of a bachelor’s degree program at the time of registration. OR 
  • Have 4000 work experience (non-investment related experience is acceptable)
  • Have a valid international travel passport
  • Be prepared to take exam in English

Refund requests received 10 working days prior to the start of class: Full course fee refunded net of the cost of any third party books purchased on student’s behalf and net of AED 500 management fee.

Refund request received after the start of classes: No refunds provided. No refunds for cancellations less than 10 working days to course start date.

The program tests candidates on 4 topics in Part I (100 questions) and 6 topics in Part II (80 questions). Candidates must pass Part I before Part II is attempted. Each exam is for 4 hours.

HOW MANY EXAMS DOES THE CMA® PROGRAM HAVE AND WHEN ARE THEY CONDUCTED?

The CMA® program tests candidates in 2 computer based exam parts (CMA® Part I and CMA® Part II).
The program tests candidates on 5 topics in Part I and 6 topics in Part II (100 multiple choice questions & 2 essays each part).

Each exam part is 4 hours – 3hours for MCQ and 1 hour for Essay.
Candidates can attempt and pass the exam Part I & II in any order.
Parts I & II examinations are held in exam windows. Exams can be registered and attempted any day (except weekends) in the 2 month window three times a year.

Window 1 – 1st January until 28th February
Window 2 – 1st May until 30th June
Window 3 – 1st September until 31st October

Parts I & II can be attempted in the same window.
